Description
The Department of Environmental Protection is soliciting bids to clean out and plug twenty-three orphan gas wells, estimated to be 1,000–3,600 feet deep, to Department specifications. Work also includes preparing and restoring well sites and mobilizing and demobilizing plugging equipment. The solicitation duration is 365 calendar days. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid conference on October 7 or October 8, 2026, is required; failure to attend will be cause for rejection of the bid.
