The Town of Apple Valley, Utah is seeking one primary contractor for on-call building, planning, zoning, and fire-protection services. - Government buyer: Town of Apple Valley, Utah; Town Clerk. - OEMs and vendors: No service-provider vendors or product manufacturers are named. The Town requires use of its City Inspect building-permit software. - Requested services: - Residential and commercial building inspections and written documentation of findings, corrections, and code issues. - Building plan reviews covering building, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, accessibility, energy, fire/life-safety, and site-plan requirements, including revisions and resubmittals. - Planning, zoning, development, and land-use application reviews, including zone changes, conditional uses, site plans, and subdivisions. - Fire-protection plan reviews and inspections, including applicable fire-code requirements and coordination with Town staff and fire authorities. - As-needed licensed engineering or architectural review, public works inspections, permit-technician support, and clerical services. - Storm-drainage engineering review only when specifically requested and authorized in writing. - Notable requirements: Provide qualified and appropriately licensed staff; meet review and inspection deadlines; deliver written findings, reports, and recommendations; coordinate with Town staff; and maintain service records and status information in City Inspect. The Town does not guarantee a minimum workload or contract amount. - Term: Four-year initial term with one optional one-year renewal, for a potential maximum of five years.

Description

The Town of Apple Valley seeks one qualified primary contractor to provide or coordinate building inspections, building plan reviews, planning and zoning reviews, fire protection reviews and inspections, and related as-needed professional services. Additional services may include specialized engineering or architectural plan review, storm drainage engineering review when authorized, public works inspection, permit technician support, and clerical services. The initial contract term is four years, with an optional one-year renewal; the Town does not guarantee a minimum volume or dollar amount of work. Proposals must be delivered in a sealed envelope to the Town Clerk at Town Hall by October 19, 2026, at 3:00 PM.
