Description

BC Hydro intends to issue RFP 24703 – Vegetation Consulting Services to establish contracts with multiple qualified suppliers supporting vegetation management programs and forestry-related capital projects throughout British Columbia. Services may include distribution and transmission vegetation consulting, capital forestry consulting, hazard-tree assessments, inspections and planning, right-of-way assessments, permitting support, stakeholder engagement, and related forestry consulting services, provided on an as-required basis. BC Hydro anticipates awarding multiple contracts, and suppliers will need to demonstrate safety qualifications, insurance, and quality-management processes. The anticipated RFP issue date is October 13, 2026, and the anticipated proposal closing date is November 10, 2026.
