The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is seeking up to three backpack radiation detection systems with training and multi-year warranty support. - Government buyer: Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), Purchasing & Contracts Unit, Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada. - Products requested: Up to three new, fully operational backpack radiation detection systems. No OEM, manufacturer, model, or part number is specified; offered products must be supported by documentation showing compliance with the requirements. - Services: One eight-hour, on-site training session for LVMPD personnel covering setup, operation, care, and maintenance. Training is to be provided by a qualified factory representative or the contractor at the contractor’s expense. - Delivery and warranty: Delivery is required within no more than 15 calendar days unless LVMPD agrees to another timeframe. Warranty coverage must be at least five years or the manufacturer’s warranty term, whichever is longer, including one year of on-site warranty service plus a four-year extended warranty. If a repair takes more than 14 days, the contractor must provide a comparable loaner at no cost; manufacturer-paid shipping is also required. - Evaluation and product readiness: LVMPD may request product samples, test models, or demonstrations at no cost. Products must be new and fully operational.
