The U.S. Postal Service is seeking a contractor to transport mail on the HCR 95976 box route serving Paradise, California. - Government buyer: U.S. Postal Service (USPS), Contract Delivery Services; Central Transportation Contracts Office. The attachment also identifies Supplies Material Management. - OEMs and vendors: No product manufacturers, OEMs, or prospective contractors are named. USPS is the government buyer. - Requested service: Regular highway transportation of mail between Paradise, CA, and H004, CA, under route HCR 95976. - Schedule and scale: Daily except Sundays and holidays; 303.07 annual trips; 16.2 miles per round trip; approximately 4,909.7 scheduled miles and 1,460 scheduled hours per year; estimated 229 boxes. - Contractor provides one vehicle with at least 120 cubic feet of usable load space and performs mail casing, loading, transport, and unloading. - Pricing is requested per annum; the solicitation does not provide compensation or a route schedule beyond the listed frequency and annual estimates. - Notable requirements: The contractor’s operating plan must address routine and contingency operations, mail security, vehicle requirements, and driver coverage. Contractor personnel are subject to screening.
