DLA Disposition Services Jacksonville is inviting sealed bids to purchase textile scrap at two Florida locations. - Opportunity: Three-year term sale of Demilitarization Code A, SCL C1A textile scrap; this is a sale, not a service contract. - Locations and bid quantities: Jacksonville, 90,000 lb; Eglin, 7,200 lb. The minimum guaranteed quantities are 45,000 lb and 3,500 lb, respectively. - Material: Miscellaneous textile scrap, including webbing, rope, nylon, rayon, wool, cotton rags, burlap, osnaburg, canvas, polyester, poncho scrap, leather, mattresses, hawser scrap, and sleeping bags. Part number: DS000C1AA. - Term and options: 36-month base period, with two 12-month options at the Sales Contracting Officer’s discretion; the total term may not exceed 60 months.
