NASA is seeking a custom vacuum-jacketed tubing system for gaseous hydrogen service at Marshall Space Flight Center. - Government buyer: National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), Propulsion Research & Technology Branch; contact: Adam Martin. The NASA Shared Services Center is identified in the initial notice. - Request: One complete vacuum-jacketed tubing system, approximately 60 feet long with 4 elbows, for upgrading the NTREES gas system. - Technical requirements: Gaseous hydrogen service; maximum allowable working pressure of at least 2,000 psig; operating temperature range of 80 K to 320 K; austenitic stainless steel construction; vacuum insulation and multilayer insulation; inch A/N end fittings; applicable ASME and ASTM standards. - Included work: Design, fabrication, inspection, documentation, packaging, and delivery to NASA MSFC in Huntsville, Alabama.
