Description

The Canadian Light Source (CLS) operates a diverse network including managed computers, scientific instruments, building control systems, and devices used by visiting researchers. Currently, devices can connect without authentication, posing security risks. CLS plans to implement a Network Access Control (NAC) solution to authenticate and authorize devices before network access, enforce security policies, segment traffic, and provide real-time visibility of connected devices. This supports CLS's cybersecurity strategy and compliance requirements.
