The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) is seeking a partner or partners to support the visioning, development, communication, and delivery of statewide professional learning and coaching. The goal is to promote implementation of the Early Literacy Program Approval Criteria for educator preparation programs preparing teacher candidates in Early Childhood, Elementary, or Moderate Disabilities PK-2/PK-8 licensure roles. This initiative is part of a broader effort called Literacy Launch, aimed at strengthening early literacy from age three to grade three across Massachusetts. The contract spans multiple fiscal years with scopes of work including shared visioning, professional learning communities, on-site coaching, resource hub development, and an annual conference.
