Description

The SFY 2027 Massachusetts Municipal Public Safety Staffing Program Police and Fire AGF is a competitive grant program administered by the Executive Office of Public Safety & Security through the Office of Grants & Research. It provides funding to eligible municipalities to support public safety emergency staffing needs for police and fire departments. Only ten specified municipalities with approved applications from FY 2026 are eligible to apply. The grant funds can be used to restore or retain sworn officers and firefighters, civilian employees, and cover overtime necessary to maintain adequate staffing levels.
