Description
FEMA announces the maximum amount of financial assistance available under the Individuals and Households Program (IHP) for emergencies and major disasters declared on or after October 1, 2025. The maximum assistance is set at $44,800 for housing assistance and $44,800 for other needs assistance per individual or household for any single emergency or major disaster. This adjustment is based on a 2.9 percent increase in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers for the 12-month period ending August 2025. The notice also increases the maximum coverage under any Group Flood Insurance Policy issued. This applies to disasters declared on or after October 1, 2025.
