Description

FEMA announces an adjustment to the award amount for Serious Needs Assistance under the Individuals and Households Program. This adjustment applies to emergencies and major disasters declared on or after October 1, 2025. The new award amount for any single emergency or major disaster is set at $790. The adjustment is based on a 2.9 percent increase in the Consumer Price Index for all Urban Consumers for the 12-month period ending August 2025.
