Description

Sources sought to provide the government with the unmanned Aircraft ( 1550-25-163-7663), Unmanned Aircraft Main Module (1550-25-163-7895); Grip Assembly, Controller AC ( 1680-25-163-7661), and Case, Electronic Communication (Hangar) ( 5895-25-163-7662, for the U.S. Military. The AN/ZSH-3(V)1 Black Hornet 4 (BH4) is a soldier Borne Sensor (SBS) designed specifically for dismounted Operators. It provides lower echelon units with an organic and immediate capability for enhancing situational awareness with minimal increase in equipment volume and weight.

Requirements Description:

The United States Army is looking for sources with the ability to provide the S007250 Unmanned Aircraft Vehicle (1550-25-163-7663), S007251 Unmanned Aircraft Main Module (1550-25-163-7895), S007260 Grip Assembly Controller AC (1680-25-163-7661), and the S007252 Case, Electronic Communication (Hangar) (5895-25-163-7262) for the AN/ZSH-3(V)1 BH4. The Government requires an estimated quantity of 2,300 S007250, 1,100 S007251, 750 S007260, and 550 S007252 over a 3-year period.  This is not a solicitation. This is only an estimate and will not bind the contractor or the Government in any way or at any time into a contract with any of the specified terms below. Suppliers capable of supplying these items, in accordance with the government data package and in the quantities specified above, should contact the government before October 16, 2026. Submissions can be sent to michelet.audige.civ@army.mil. Responses must include a list of items the supplier is able to produce or source as well as documentation that the supplier can provide the army with a physically and functionally component from the list above. Examples of such documentation can be test results, copy of purchase orders if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source, or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can provide the Army a solution. At a minimum the support information you submit should include, but is not limited to, the following types of documentation: Questionnaire, information on previous Government and commercial contracts, and evidence that the item can be provided.

This Sources sought announcement (SSA) is for planning and market research purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. The information gathered from this announcement will be used to determine if responsible sources exist, and to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or set aside for Small Business.  Furthermore, the Government will use the information, in part, to determine the best acquisition strategy for a potential procurement action and/or to assist in making acquisition strategy decisions in the future.
