Description

The FAA is superseding Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2023-15-03 for all Safran Model Arrius 2B2 engines. The AD requires updating the airworthiness limitations section of the existing engine maintenance manual or instructions for continued airworthiness and the existing approved maintenance or inspection program by incorporating new and more restrictive tasks and limitations, including life limits. This action addresses an unsafe condition that could result in failure of one or more engines, loss of thrust control, and loss of the helicopter. The AD is effective November 2, 2026.
