Description

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Nevada State Director intends to prepare a Resource Management Plan (RMP) amendment with an associated Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Western Quarry Limestone Project. The project involves constructing, operating, reclaiming, and closing a new limestone quarry using conventional open pit mining methods on approximately 874 acres of public land in Humboldt County, Nevada. The amendment will adjust Visual Resource Management classifications to accommodate the project.
