The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is seeking scientific, engineering, and technical services to support Synthetic Signature Generation (SSG) simulation systems for Navy fleet training. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Navy - Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) - Scope of Services: - Design, development, fabrication, integration, testing, delivery, installation, and maintenance of SSG-based simulation systems - Support for system installations and updates across five Navy fleet training categories: - Submarine Team - Navigation - Surface - Surveillance - On-Board - Technical engineering support for simulation and training system capabilities to onsite maintenance personnel - Tactical testing and analysis for common simulation and tactical subsystems used in trainers - Contract Structure: - Single-award Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) - Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) Level of Effort (LOE) CLINs - Cost Only Other Direct Costs (ODCs) CLINs for incidental materials and travel - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Notable Requirements: - Comprehensive support for both new and existing fleet training systems - Emphasis on technical engineering and onsite maintenance support - Inclusion of tactical testing and analysis for simulation subsystems

Description

The Department of the Navy, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is soliciting for scientific, engineering, and technical services required for the design, development, fabrication, integration, test, fleet implementation, and maintenance of Synthetic Signature Generation (SSG) based simulation systems. The Government requires support system installations and updates required for the following five categories of Navy fleet training systems: Submarine Team, Navigation, Surface, Surveillance, and On-Board. The Government requires design, development, integration, testing, delivery, installation, and maintenance of fielded systems. The Government requires technical engineering support for simulation and training system capabilities to existing fleet onsite maintenance personnel for the operational systems. The Government also requires support for tactical testing and analysis system configurations for common simulation and tactical subsystems utilized in these trainers. The Government is soliciting this requirement as full-and-open competition. The contract will be awarded as a single award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity(IDIQ), with Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) Level of Effort (LOE) CLINs and Cost Only Other Direct Costs (ODCs) CLINs for incidental materials and travel. The contract will be for a period of three years to include three one-year ordering periods.
