The City Attorney of the City of Durham seeks to establish a general pool of qualified law firms to serve as approved outside counsel for various legal services from fiscal years 2027 to 2030. The scope includes special conflict counsel, complex litigation, real estate counsel, collections and foreclosure counsel, workers' compensation defense, housing and neighborhood services, and bankruptcy counsel. Selected firms will enter into a three-year service agreement and may be selected on a rotating basis or based on expertise. Proposals must be submitted by email by October 29, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
