Nash County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is seeking proposals for comprehensive ambulance billing and collection services, including specialized EMS software solutions. - Government Buyer: - Nash County Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Nash County, North Carolina - Contact: Travis Green, Deputy Division Director - OEMs and Vendors: - ESO (provider of EMS electronic health record and management software) - Varikko (provider of cloud-based EMS management modules) - Products/Services Requested: - Ambulance billing and collection services, including management of all EMS transport billing, collections, and reporting - ESO Software Suite: EHR, HDE, Alerting, Personnel Management, and integrations for up to 35,000 EMS calls annually - Varikko Software Suite: 200 licenses covering forms, scheduling, payroll, inventory, fleet, HR, eLearning, QA, policy management, and communications - NAAC-certified electronic documentation training for EMS crews (online and in-person) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Minimum five years' experience in ambulance billing - Service to at least three North Carolina clients with over 10,000 annual transports each - SSAE 18 SOC 2 Type 2 certification - HIPAA compliance - Ability to manage backlog of unbilled or previously billed accounts - Detailed monthly invoicing based on collections - Pricing based on a percentage of net collections - Contract term: three years with an option to renew for two additional years
