Description

OCE Education supports efforts to integrate ocean research and education through two main program areas: the Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Site Program, which funds summer internships for undergraduates in ocean-related research, and the Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) program, which supports pre-tenure researchers combining research with educational programs. The program also serves as the point of contact for Ocean Technical Education, Research Experiences for Teachers (RET), Geoscience Veterans Education and Training Supplements (GEO-VETS), and REU supplement requests.
