Description

The National Cancer Institute (NCI) solicits applications for Research Units (RUs) as part of the Pancreatic Cancer Detection Consortium (PCDC) to conduct research on early detection of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) and its precursor lesions. The research aims to develop and test new molecular and imaging biomarkers for early detection and identification of high-risk patients. The PCDC-RUs will consist of multidisciplinary teams conducting biomarker discovery, validation, and longitudinal biospecimen collection. Collaboration and data sharing among PCDC-RUs are expected to advance early intervention strategies for PDAC.
