Description

The Bergen County Utilities Authority (BCUA) is soliciting bids for Contract 26-04 to pre-purchase two new gravity thickener mechanisms for existing Gravity Thickener Tanks No. 1 and No. 2 at the Little Ferry Water Pollution Control Facility. Each mechanism includes a complete center-column, side-feed, peripheral-overflow unit with a center drive and four rake arms, rated for 200,000 ft-lbs. of torque. The contract also includes a spare parts package, 3D scanning and field verification of the existing tank geometry, storage inspections, and on-site supervision of installation, testing, and training.
