The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is seeking qualified small businesses to provide as-needed HVAC and chiller maintenance and repair services across Districts 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9. - Government Buyer: - Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), Finance & Administration division - Scope of Services: - General and emergency maintenance, repair, and minor alterations for heating, ventilating, air conditioning, and chiller systems - Includes work on distribution systems, chillers, air conditioners, boilers, pumps, heat exchangers, fans, control systems, and related components - Vendor must supply all labor, materials, tools, and equipment - Compliance with prevailing wage requirements is mandatory - Subcontracting is prohibited - Service Line Items: - Multiple labor rate line items for journeyman and foreman roles - Standard, evening/Saturday, and Sunday/holiday rates - Estimated labor hours: Journeyman (400 standard, 100 evening/Saturday, 50 Sunday/holiday), Foreman (100 standard, 50 evening/Saturday) - Unique Requirements: - Major repairs (involving building structure or costs above $50,000) require pre-approval from the Capital Development Board - No BEP/VBP participation goal set - Contract is set aside for small businesses - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; open to qualified small business providers - Period of Performance: - Contract term ends December 31, 2027, with a maximum total term not to exceed ten years including renewals or extensions
