Description

The Province is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to implement manual wildfire risk reduction fuel treatment activities within Treatment Unit 3 of the Fox Farm Road project area near Iron Mountain and the Fox Farm community. The work involves treating approximately 16.7 hectares with activities such as thinning, pruning, piling, and pile burning to reduce fuel hazards in a mature Douglas-fir and ponderosa pine stand. Additionally, 7.2 hectares in adjacent Treatment Unit 1 will be pile burning only.
