Description
The Government of Canada is establishing a Sovereign Cloud Qualification Process to support future procurements of sovereign cloud services. This process is an initial step to qualify Canadian-owned and controlled businesses that can offer sovereign cloud services, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), AI enabling services, and managed services for classified cloud solutions. The qualification process is not a solicitation and will not result in a contract award but will create a list of qualified vendors for future procurements. The process is ongoing with periodic intake periods, the first closing on October 19, 2026.
