Description

The Corporation is seeking consulting services to develop a Food Recovery Network supported by a technology platform. The network should facilitate collaboration and information sharing among existing or developing food recovery initiatives within the Metro Vancouver Regional District and neighboring regions. The goal is to divert surplus food to the highest value end-use, create secondary markets, and reduce avoidable food waste. The successful proposer(s) must have web/software development capabilities and experience with operating food recovery networks, preferably with local experience as detailed in Section 00 24 10 Scope of Services.
