Description

The Navy Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA) program aims to provide the Carrier Air Wing with lethal, survivable, and versatile platforms capable of sea operation. The program focuses on collaborative manned-unmanned operations, modular open standards, and rapid prototyping to adapt to complex threat networks. PMA-228 seeks to develop and demonstrate an autonomous unmanned air vehicle Increment 1 prototype to reduce technical risk and accelerate capability delivery.
