The Nevada Department of Public Safety (NVDPS), through the Nevada State Purchasing Division, is seeking licensed mental health professionals to deliver confidential, trauma-informed behavioral health services to approximately 700 DPS personnel and retirees. - Government Buyer: - Nevada Department of Public Safety - Nevada State Purchasing Division - Services Requested: - Annual behavioral wellness visits for peace officers (in compliance with NRS 289.510 and NAC 289.345) - Retirement counseling (up to two hours within three months of retirement per NRS 281.800) - Individual counseling for occupational stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, sleep disturbances, relationship concerns, and other behavioral health needs - Critical incident services including clinical interventions and debriefings after traumatic events (e.g., officer-involved shootings, line-of-duty deaths, suicides, mass casualty incidents) - Other approved clinical services as needed - Notable Requirements: - Strict confidentiality and compliance with Nevada Revised Statutes and Administrative Code - Only clinicians meeting minimum qualifications and approved by the Department may provide services - Billing rates: $125 per wellness visit, $300 per clinical hour for counseling (capped at 6 hours per employee without prior authorization) - No minimum volume of service guaranteed; reimbursement for travel expenses at state rates - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors named; open solicitation for qualified providers - Contract Structure: - Initial term of three years, with two optional one-year extensions - Multiple contracts may be awarded

The Nevada Department of Public Safety is seeking proposals for mental health professionals to provide confidential behavioral health services to its employees and eligible retirees.
