Description

Amtrak is seeking a PEARL accredited contractor to perform complete refurbishment of six Eaton 15kv, 5000A "doghouse" breakers located at the Conestoga Step Up Yard. The refurbishment includes inspection and testing (As-Found), mechanical refurbishment, electrical refurbishment, testing, and factory acceptance testing. The breakers have experienced corrosion and environmental degradation and will be transported to the contractor's shop for refurbishment. The goal is to return each breaker to verified, documented, and tested like-new condition in line with OEM performance and current PEARL, ANSI, and NETA standards.
