Description

This solicitation is for the complete construction, testing, commissioning, training, and turnover of the Charles County VanGo Transit Operations and Maintenance Facility located on approximately 6.72 acres east of Piney Church Road, Waldorf, MD. The facility will support about 50 transit buses and encompass approximately 180,000 square feet including administrative, operational, maintenance, and parking areas. The project is funded with Federal and State transit funds through the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) and requires compliance with applicable County, State, MTA, FTA, labor, environmental, quality, reporting, and recordkeeping requirements. The project schedule includes a virtual pre-bid meeting and site visit on October 1, 2026, with bids due by October 29, 2026.
