Description

Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), through the Canadian Forest ServiceLaurentian Forestry Centre (CFS-LFC), has been mandated by the Department of National Defense (DND) to implement the integrated forest resource management plan for Valcartier Base and Farnham Base. The contract involves various forest management activities including timber harvesting, silvicultural work, forest road maintenance, and other related tasks in forest areas. The contract is based on a barter principle and has an initial duration until November 30, 2027, with options to extend for up to three additional one-year periods. An optional site visit is scheduled for October 8, 2026.
