The Military Sealift Command's Strategic Sealift Program Support Office (N103A) is seeking information from industry for a 137-day dry cargo time charter: - Government Buyer: - Military Sealift Command Headquarters Norfolk (MSCHQ NORFOLK) - Strategic Sealift Program Support Office, N103A - Service Requested: - Charter of self-sustaining dry cargo vessels for 137 days - Vessels must be capable of transporting military cargo, including: - Helicopters (AH-64, UH-60) - Tracked and wheeled vehicles - Breakbulk cargo - Vessels must have hazardous material capabilities - Delivery and redelivery ports: Tacoma, Washington - Crew must include a qualified crane operator - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; both U.S. and foreign flag vessels are eligible - Unique Requirements: - Vessel must be self-sustaining (able to load/unload cargo independently) - Crew must be qualified for crane operations - Must support transport of hazardous materials - No product line items; only a service line item for the vessel charter is specified
