NASA seeks Cavitar Cavilux HF Gen2 lasers and control units for Schlieren-Based Imaging (sole source to TECH IMAGING SERVICES, INC.)

NASA Langley Research Center is seeking to procure advanced laser systems for Schlieren-Based Imaging, specifically Cavitar Cavilux HF Gen2 lasers and control units. - Procurement is for two Cavitar Cavilux HF Gen2 control units and two Cavitar Cavilux HF laser units (300 W, 650 nm wavelength). - Includes two fiber-style laser light guides, four pairs of laser safety eyewear, and two carrying cases. - Lasers must support pulse widths as low as 50 ns and pulse rates up to 400 kHz, with USB synchronization to existing Cavitar systems. - NASA intends to award a sole source contract to TECH IMAGING SERVICES, INC., the exclusive provider of Cavitar Cavilux HF lasers in the U.S. - Vendors are invited to submit capability statements by September 29, 2026; quotes are not being accepted at this stage. - Delivery of hardware is required by December 1, 2026. - The procurement is classified under NAICS code 334516 (Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing). - The opportunity is non-competitive unless the government determines otherwise based on submitted capability statements. - All submissions must reference the notice ID and comply with the requirements outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).

NASA/NSSC has a requirement for Cavilux HF Lasers. See the attached SOW and request for Capability statements for full details of this requirement. 

VENDORS MUST REFERENCE THE NOTICE ID WHEN SUBMITTING A CAPABILITY STATEMENT.
