Description

The project involves rehabilitation and improvement of an existing stormwater drainage facility within the City of Richmond to construct a stormwater trash capture facility. The work includes selective demolition and removal of existing improvements, installation of two gross solids removal devices (GSRDs), construction of cast-in-place concrete structures, installation of a packaged stormwater pump station and associated electrical facilities, and related site improvements such as drainage, roadway, speed bump, sidewalk, curb ramp, curb and gutter, lighting, signage, fencing, and permanent site stabilization and restoration. An additive alternate is included for installation of a solar-powered security camera system. The project requires compliance with City of Richmond and Caltrans standards and includes various environmental and construction best management practices.
