This solicitation is for the purchase of Florosilicic Acid for the Division of Water within the Department of Public Utilities, as authorized by Ordinance 129.24 passed by the Cleveland City Council on September 21, 1992. The procurement involves entering into one or more standard purchase or requirement contracts with the lowest and best bidder after competitive bidding. The chemicals procured are necessary for water treatment operations and include various water treatment chemicals such as alum polymer coagulant, high calcium quicklime, aluminum sulfate, chlorine, sodium silicofluoride, hydroflurosilicic acid, and corrosion inhibitors.
