Description

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), requires contractor support of information systems primarily focused on Operations and Maintenance (O&M), with additional Program Management, optional Modernization and Enhancement (M&E), optional Decommissioning, and Transition Support for the Office of Single-Family Housing (SFH). 

HUD OCIO oversees and manages the majority of HUD’s information technology functions. Application and systems support services are currently managed by the Office of Customer Relationship and Performance Management (OCRPM). OCRPM provides IT support to the Office of Single-Family Housing (SFH) and serves as the primary coordination point for technical activities involving other OCIO organizations, including the Office of the Chief Information Officer and Deputy Chief Information Officers, Investment Management, Enterprise Architecture, Policy and e-Government, IT Operations, and IT Security.

The Office of Single-Family Housing promotes affordable homeownership and refinancing opportunities for qualified borrowers through the Federal Housing Administration’s Single Family mortgage insurance programs. These programs protect approved mortgage lenders against losses resulting from borrower defaults, thereby encouraging lenders to provide mortgage financing to eligible homebuyers, including first-time homebuyers and individuals and families with low-to-moderate incomes.
