Carroll County is seeking qualified contractors to provide on-call snow removal services for the Division of Roads Operations. - Contractors must supply trucks and operators for snow removal - Truck types required: one-ton pickups or dump trucks, five-ton, ten-ton, and fifteen-ton dump trucks - All trucks must be equipped with snowplows, salt spreaders, and two sets of tire chains - Vehicles must be properly tagged and registered for their intended use; Farm Tags are not permitted - Contractors are responsible for providing both the vehicles and operators - The County will set hourly rates for each vehicle classification (see Attachment A) - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation

Description

The County Commissioners of Carroll County are inviting qualified individuals and/or Contractors to submit qualifications to provide on call snow removal services. Awarded Contractors will furnish the Carroll County Division of Roads Operations with various trucks equipped with snowplows, salt spreaders, and tire chains, including operators, for snow removal. All trucks must be tagged and registered for intended use, with no vehicles having Farm Tags permitted for plowing operations. The County will set the hourly rates for each classification of vehicle as outlined in Attachment A.
