The City of High Point Transportation Department is seeking bids for the rehabilitation and recoating of decorative crosswalk surfaces along E. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. - Government Buyer: - City of High Point, Transportation Department, Purchasing Division - Contact: Greg Parret - Scope of Work: - Surface preparation and restoration of stamped asphalt at eight crosswalk locations - Application of a decorative pavement coating system (StreetBond-150 or approved equivalent) on approximately 6,210 square feet - Removal and replacement of about 1,220 linear feet of 8-inch white Pre-Mark thermoplastic border markings (90 mil thickness) - Restoration of decorative stamped pattern at the Woodbury Street crosswalk - Traffic control measures, including planning, installation, and removal of devices and signage - Products/Services Requested: - StreetBond-150 Surfacing System or equivalent decorative pavement coating - Pre-Mark thermoplastic border markings - Unique Requirements: - Project must be completed within 30 calendar days after Notice to Proceed - One-year warranty on workmanship and materials - Compliance with all applicable laws and ADA requirements - No specific OEMs mandated; equivalent products may be proposed

Description

The City of High Point is seeking a qualified contractor to rehabilitate and recoat existing decorative crosswalk surfaces along MLK Jr. Drive. The scope of work includes surface preparation, removal of deteriorated material, installation of the specified coating system, traffic control, and all incidental work necessary for a complete project.
