Description

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has submitted an information collection request (ICR) for the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) for Semiconductor Manufacturing to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and approval. This is a proposed extension of the ICR, currently approved through September 30, 2026. The regulations apply to semiconductor manufacturing facilities that emit or have the potential to emit hazardous air pollutants at specified rates. The information collected includes initial notifications, performance tests, periodic reports, and records of operational events to ensure compliance with 40 CFR part 63, subpart BBBBB.
