The City of San Clemente Public Works Department is seeking bids for the FY 2027 Local Street Improvement Program, focusing on comprehensive street and concrete improvements. - Government Buyer: - City of San Clemente Public Works Department - OEMs and Vendors: - G2 Construction, Inc. (pre-selected for Trash and Debris Capture Devices) - Products/Services Requested: - Street and concrete improvements including: - Mobilization, traffic control, street sweeping, and dust control - Removal and replacement of curbs, gutters, sidewalks, driveways, and concrete pavers - Installation of stormwater quality devices (Trash and Debris Capture Devices: G2 CPS-Mod, GITS, ARS-CL) - Utilities work, water meter box removal and installation, curb drains, and hot mix asphalt pavement - Specialized work (e.g., detectable warning surfaces, retaining curbs, local depressions) - Catch basin and inlet cleaning - Quantities include thousands of linear feet and square feet for removals and installations (e.g., 6,200 sq ft sidewalk/curb ramp removal and construction, 2,200-2,300 linear feet curb/gutter work) - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Trash and Debris Capture Devices (Bid Item Nos. 37 to 40) must be installed by G2 Construction, Inc., as mandated by grant funding - G2 Construction, Inc. provides a 10-year warranty on stormwater devices - Bidders must hold a valid California Class A contractor's license and comply with prevailing wage laws - Project must be completed within 90 working days - Estimated contract value is $1,350,000

Description

This project involves mobilization, traffic control, street sweeping, removal and replacement of concrete improvements, utilities work, and other tasks as specified. The Trash and Debris Capture Devices work will be performed by a pre-selected subcontractor, G2 Construction, Inc., funded by the Environmental Cleanup Tier 1 Grant. The contract requires a Class A California contractor's license and registration with the Department of Industrial Relations. The work must be completed within 90 working days from the Notice to Proceed.
