Harmony Public Schools (HPS) is seeking to expand its pool of qualified childcare providers for a tuition-free prekindergarten (PreK) program for eligible three- and four-year-old students in Texas. - Government Buyer: - Harmony Public Schools (HPS), an open-enrollment charter school system with over 70 campuses in Texas - Vendors/OEMs: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; this is an open solicitation for new childcare providers not already in the current vendor pool - Products/Services Requested: - Tuition-free PreK educational and childcare services - Services delivered at the provider’s site, following Harmony’s program and operational requirements - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Only providers not already approved under the previous RFP #HPS2627_PREK may apply - All required forms, company information, references, and contract acknowledgments must be completed and signed - The contract includes an initial implementation period, a first year of operation, and three optional one-year renewals - Providers must deliver services in accordance with Harmony’s standards and operational needs

Description

Harmony Public Schools (HPS), an open-enrollment charter school system in Texas, is soliciting proposals from qualified childcare providers to expand its vendor pool for a tuition-free prekindergarten program for eligible three- and four-year-old students. Services will be provided at the provider's site based on Harmony's program and operational needs. The initial contract term starts November 1, 2026, through July 31, 2027, with the first year of program operation from August 1, 2027, through July 31, 2028, and includes three optional one-year renewals. Providers already in the vendor pool under a previous RFP are not eligible to submit proposals. Interested parties can request the RFP packet via email or access it online.
