Description

Health centers with current performance periods ending between December 31, 2026, and February 28, 2027, are required to apply to continue serving their service areas through a fiscal year 2027 Service Area Competition. To prevent service gaps, health centers with performance periods ending December 31, 2026, or January 31, 2027, will receive extensions with funding through June 30, 2027. Those with performance periods ending February 28, 2027, will receive extensions with funding through July 31, 2027. These extensions support operational flexibility and ensure continuity of comprehensive primary care until new awards are made.
