Description
The City of Pasadena, through Pasadena Water and Power (PWP), is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for design-build services for solar and energy storage installations at Category 1 City-owned properties. The project includes site evaluation, engineering, design, permitting, procurement, construction, interconnection, commissioning, stakeholder engagement, and ongoing operations and maintenance for five years post-final acceptance. The goal is to support Pasadena's strategic plan to source 100% of its electricity from carbon-free resources by 2030, enhancing local renewable generation, reducing costs, and increasing grid resilience. The project is scheduled for completion by June 2028 and covers multiple city locations with specified capacities.
