United Independent School District (UISD) is seeking qualified vendors to provide a wide range of creative and event services for district-wide use over a three-year contract period. - Government Buyer: - United Independent School District (UISD), Webb County, Laredo, TX - Scope of Services: - Custom apparel production, including graphic design, screen printing, embroidery, and specialty wear - Event decoration services: event décor, balloon art, furniture and prop rentals, setup and teardown - Lighting systems and special effects: event lighting, fog machines, disco balls, laser lights, strobe lighting, LED dance floors - Event planning and coordination: full-service event planning, on-site management - Entertainment services: DJ and MC services, interactive performers (LED robot dancers, clowns, magicians, etc.), age-appropriate music - Photography and videography: school portraits, event coverage, editing, and content delivery - Venue rental: facility rental, A/V, catering, event coordination - Requirements: - Vendors must submit detailed company information, service descriptions, pricing, and references - Evidence of insurance and compliance with district standards - Background checks and/or fingerprinting for services involving direct student contact - Recommendation letters required - No guaranteed minimum work; vendors are pre-qualified for on-demand use - Contract Structure: - Non-exclusive, performance-based contract - Continuous proposal submission with quarterly board approval - Three-year term with no option years specified - OEMs: - No specific OEMs or manufacturers are named; opportunity is open to all qualified providers - Notable Requirements: - Vendors must provide all equipment, materials, staffing, and coordination for services - Administrative approval required for video distribution - Facility rental must include safety protocols and itemized pricing
