Santé Québec Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean – Universitaire is seeking specialized technical services for asbestos management across its facilities. - Scope includes: - Sampling of materials suspected to contain asbestos - Laboratory analysis of collected samples - Reporting results to the contracting authority - Updating the CIUSSS asbestos register based on analysis and removal work - Additional services such as air testing, asbestos management consulting, and oversight of asbestos-related work - Procurement is divided into two lots covering different facility locations - Subject to Québec-Ontario Agreement (ACCQO), Canada-European Union CETA, and Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the notice - Estimated contract value is 1,800,000 CAD - Contract duration is 36 days with two possible one-year renewal options

Description

This contract is to retain a specialized service provider to sample materials that may contain asbestos in the facilities of CIUSSS du Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, analyze the samples, and report results to the contracting authority. It also includes updating the asbestos register based on analysis results and asbestos removal work. Upon request, the provider will conduct air tests, provide asbestos management consulting services, and oversee work involving asbestos-containing materials. Services will be performed across various CIUSSS facilities in compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
