Description
University of Waterloo is requesting proposals for the purchase, installation, and commissioning of a 3D Scanning Laser Vibrometer. The vibrometer will be used to measure, estimate, and validate spatial flexible multibody dynamics models of manufacturing equipment, including machine tools and robots. These models will be integral parts of Digital Twins for manufacturing processes to enable accurate simulation, optimization, monitoring, and real-time control. The system must be highly flexible, reliable, easy-to-use, and accurate, and will also be used by other research groups at the University of Waterloo.
