NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic, part of the Department of Defense and Department of the Navy, is soliciting proposals for the renovation and enclosure of the X-132 Entrance at the Northeast Loading Dock, Naval Station Norfolk. - Government Buyer: - Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic - Public Works Department Norfolk Facilities Engineering and Acquisition Division - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation or attachments - Products/Services Requested: - Construction services for renovation and enclosure of a 1,400 SF portion of warehouse - Creation of secure entry point, pedestrian walkway, ABA compliant ramp, loading dock platform and leveler - Relocation of exterior dual split units - Removal and disposal of unidentified concrete foundations (200 CY), contaminated soils (200 CY), and contaminated groundwater (2,000 gallons) - Replacement with select fill and imported select fill as needed - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Eligibility limited to 8(a) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) contractors in Hampton Roads Area, Virginia - Award based on low-price basis - Completion period is 330 calendar days from task order award - Secure entry and ADA compliance are emphasized - Unit pricing required for removal/disposal of unknown materials - Estimated contract value between $1M and $5M
