The USDA Forest Service, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests is seeking contractors to supply crushed rock surface coarse aggregate for the Springerville and Alpine Ranger Districts. - Government Buyer: - USDA Forest Service, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests (Intermountain Region) - Springerville and Alpine Ranger Districts - Products Requested: - Crushed rock, surface coarse aggregate, 1-inch minus (per Table 31-2/Table 703-3, Grading/Gradation G) - Base quantity: 2,950 tons - Optional quantity: Additional tons may be requested if funding permits - Requirements: - Aggregate must be stockpiled at contractor-designated pit locations within 35 miles of the forest boundary (Apache and Greenlee counties) - No hauling or delivery required; government will handle removal - Material must meet specific grading and quality standards (Table 31-2/Table 703-3, Grading/Gradation G) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; open to qualified aggregate producers - Notable Details: - Option for additional quantity based on available funding - Contractor responsible for producing and stockpiling aggregate; government responsible for hauling - Final cleanup required upon completion

Description

The United States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, requires crushed aggregate supply for use by the Springerville and Alpine Ranger Districts. The Contractor shall furnish crushed aggregate material as specified in the solicitation attachments. This requirement is for the supply of aggregate only. This solicitation does not include hauling or delivery of aggregate by the Contractor. The Government will provide the hauling mechanism for aggregate removal from the awarded Contractor’s designated pit locations.
