This opportunity seeks a CAPTE-accredited academic institution to deliver a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree program for Air Force enlisted members near Joint Base San Antonio, TX. - Government Buyer: - Air Force Medical Readiness Agency (AFMRA) - FA8003 771 Enterprise Sourcing Squadron, Air Force Materiel Command, AF Installation & Mission Support Center - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; CAPTE-accredited academic institutions are required - Products/Services Requested: - Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) AAS degree program - Academic and clinical training for 36 students annually - Three cohorts per year, each with 12 students - Up to 180 academic days per cohort - Includes digital learning tools, clinical supervision, facility access, graduation administration, and licensure exam registration - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Training must occur within 15 miles of Joint Base San Antonio, TX - Institution must be CAPTE-accredited - Surge capacity for additional students may be required - Training must be conducted during standard government duty hours, five days a week, excluding federal holidays - Full compliance with Statement of Work (SOW) criteria - No products or equipment are requested; focus is on academic and clinical training services

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This is NOT a solicitation, but market research to determine potential sources to procure 4J Physical Medicine Apprentice Phase II Academic and Clinical Training within a 15 mile radius from Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), TX.

This notice does not constitute a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. Further, we are not currently seeking proposals; therefore, DO NOT request a copy of a solicitation or submit a proposal as a result of this notice. Responders are advised the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this sources sought and that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. All costs associated with responding to this sources sought will be solely at the responding party's expense.

Not responding to this sources sought does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, should one be issued. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise from a response to the notice. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor the SAM.gov website for additional information pertaining to this sources sought.

RESPONSE INFORMATION:

Responses to this Sources Sought Notice must be received no later than 4:00 PM EST, on Thursday, 02 October 2026. Responses should be emailed to: kenneth.cash.1@us.af.mil and zachery.dishong@us.af.mil. It is the responsibility of the respondent to ensure their email has been received by contacting either the Contract Specialist, Kenneth Cash, or Contracting Officer, SSgt Zachery Dishong, via email PRIOR to the deadline. Responses and/or inquiries WILL NOT be accepted past the deadline.

Interested parties should include their company name, address, phone number, point of contact, CAGE code, company size status, and whether they are a U.S. or foreign-owned firm. All interested parties must provide a response containing a written statement confirming they can comply with the Government needs as specified in the Statement of Work (SOW), any associated product literature, and if the items are located on a Federal Supply Schedule contract.
