The City of Pico Rivera is seeking qualified General Contractors to submit Statements of Qualifications for the redevelopment of Rio Hondo Park and Soccer Field located at 8421 San Luis Potosi Place. The project encompasses a 12-acre park with approximately 8.5 acres of grass fields and includes installation of a new irrigation system, exercise stations, plaza with shade, picnic shelters, walking paths, trash enclosure, bleachers with shade, a full-size synthetic turf soccer field with fencing, landscaping, a pickleball court, LED and/or solar lighting, additional parking, and restroom improvements. Only pre-qualified Class A License contractors and synthetic turf subcontractors will be eligible to bid. The estimated contract value is between $8 million and $10 million.
