The City of Newport Beach is seeking qualified contractors to provide citywide on-call asphalt, concrete, and concrete grinding repair services. - Government Buyer: - City of Newport Beach, Finance Department - Municipal Operations Department - Scope of Work: - Full and partial depth asphalt and concrete street removal and replacement - Cold milling (2" depth) across various square footage ranges - Crack sealing (1-500 LF and 501+ LF) - Compaction testing - Installation of pavement fabric - Pothole repair - Construction and repair of Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) sidewalks, driveways, curbs, gutters, ramps, alleys, and street pavement - Sidewalk grinding to eliminate tripping hazards - Root shaving and gutter flow line grinding - Adjustments and repairs to water valve boxes, manhole covers, sewer cleanouts, and concrete collars - Services Requested: - On-call maintenance and repair services performed upon written request - Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, traffic control, and supervision - ADA-compliant curb ramps and traffic control per City standards - Requirements: - Valid California State Contractor's License Classification A - Minimum five years of relevant experience - References and stringent insurance requirements (pollution liability, general liability, automobile liability, workers compensation) - Compliance with City Standards and Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction ("Greenbook") - Bonds required for proposals over $25,000; adherence to California prevailing wage laws - Contract Details: - Three-year initial term with two optional one-year extensions - Estimated contract value: $1,250,000 - Not-to-exceed compensation for some agreements: $100,000 - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; open solicitation for qualified contractors

The City of Newport Beach is soliciting bids for on-call asphalt, concrete, and concrete grinding repair services.
